Bethel’s Women’s Group
Women of all ages…join us in the Sanctuary every Monday at 10:00 a.m. Discussion topics vary from week to week. How do we cope in our world today? Come, share in this hour of engagement and enlightenment as we search through Bible verses together. Breakfast Bunch
A men’s Bible study group who meet the first and third Sunday of each month at 9:00 a.m. below the Sanctuary. Light breakfast refreshments are served.
Bridge Club
Our 30+ year old club meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Christian Education Fellowship Hall. We play party bridge with a welcoming social group. All are welcome, regardless of experience. Most of the group are intermediate players, but brand-new folks are welcome.

Historic Cemetery Tours
Come discover some fascinating Harford County history by touring Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. You will hear stories about some of the historical figures buried in our 250-year-old cemetery.
Spirits who still dwell here might visit to tell their tales. Hear the story of “Jarrettsville”, a historical novel set in 1869. It’s based on the true story of a complicated romance that leads to a shocking crime.

Mission Committee
The Mission Committee is a standing committee of the Session. The Committee makes decisions concerning the distribution of the annual mission budget to organizations, non-profits, and other entities that engage in Christian mission and service to God’s people. One of the organizations that we contribute to is the Mason-Dixon Community Services for 500 plus families in Harford County including the Food Pantry, school supplies, counseling, and employment training.
Outreach & Growth Committee
In the name of Jesus Christ and Bethel Presbyterian Church, we live into the Great Commission. “Go out to all the world.” We take seriously the Gospel message lived out through mission and ministry to our community. Our latest ministry is “Bethel Helping Hands.” We will undertake simple home repairs and upkeep for any of our neighbors in need.
Session
In our Presbyterian world, the church board is called The Session. The Session consists of 12 church members who are ordained as elders by the laying on of hands. The Session is the governing body of the church. They are responsible for nearly everything in the church from worship, Christian education, and overseeing mission and ministry. More so, the elders on Session are the spiritual leaders of the church who lead the people of God in closer relationships to Jesus Christ through prayer and example.
Trustees
The trustees at Bethel Presbyterian are the stewards of the physical resources that the Lord has given to us to use in His service. This group of 12 elected individuals coordinate the care and upkeep of the buildings, grounds, and equipment at Bethel along with managing the use of these facilities by non-members. The trustees utilize the expertise from inside and outside of our congregation to accomplish these tasks for the Lord.
